Leaving grasshopper-ridden and drought-stricken South Dakota for a new start in Oregon
So I just bought myself this lovely handmade leather wallet, and I may have gained more than just a new wallet with that purchase. Let me explain a little. So oddly enough, I discovered this company off of insta, called Bradley Mountain. The guy that started it, Tyler Axtell, loves Jesus and has a really great philosophy on business and life in general. “Bradley Mountain is a mountain on the east coast, but really for my purposes, it is a fictitious place that we all fill in with our own lives. The ambiguity is not an accident. Whether you are in the valley or up on one of the sides, you get to tell a story. I want all of the interactions made and goods sold through Bradley Mountain to celebrate and encourage this simple idea: Live Adventurously.” It’s just really great to be encouraged by people doing life differently. I think a lot of us, including myself, have sort of lost our sense of adventure. As cliche as that sounds, I think it’s true. Look around- too many people are glued to their cell phones, tv screens, and iPads on the daily. I just get the sense that we’re often times missing out on the blessings we’ve been given. But this guy and this company encourages us to change that, and I think that’s just really awesome. It’s neat to support companies like this, ones that are giving back more than just the products they sell. Go check out their stuff at bradleymountain.com or their insta tag @bradleymountain. You won’t regret it. And hey, you may even get some free encouragement that’s just plain good for the soul.
Thanks for the the awesome write up! We love hearing from people that encourage and support the idea of an adventurous life wherever you are. Keep it up!
